RTE Radio 1: Liveline Special on Self-Publishing

It’s not too often when self-publishing and, in particular, self-published books, get a prime time radio spot and an entire programme dedicated to this area of publishing. For the second year RTE Radio‘s flagship afternoon Liveline show, presented by Joe Duffy, will focus on self-published books and authors. This is probably about as open an invitation any Irish author is going to get to talk about their self-published book on national radio. The slot proved very successful last year and it returns next Tuesday, December 20th, in the run up to the Christmas weekend. (Podcast link for full details)
“It’s going to be a great long Christmas week for Liveline, six days next week we’re on Monday as usual. On Tuesday, we’re doing a programme—we did it last year, and it was a great success in terms of interest for a programme featuring a selection of your self-published books. If you have published a book yourself this year and you maybe want us to trying and get the opportunities to talk about it on Tuesday and you want to do the same then contact us or send a copy of the book in and we will do our utmost to include you on Tuesday.”
The day after, Wednesday, December 21st, the Liveline will also broadcast its annual feature of books of 2011.
